8. Payment Information
We strive to make the payment process as easy and flexible as possible. Here are a few key points to keep in mind regarding payments:
- Payment is due at the end of the job: Full payment must be made before the movers leave your location, unless otherwise coordinated with Elite Movers in advance.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept the following:
- Cash
- Card
- Check
- Venmo
- Cash App
Note: Please be aware that card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee, which is collected by the card processing company.
Regarding Tipping: If you plan to tip, the following are preferred options:
- Cash tips handed directly to the movers.
- Separate checks for tipping each mover.
While the movers will receive any tip included in your final payment (e.g., through check, card, or digital payment), we prefer cash or separate checks whenever possible to ensure they receive their tips promptly and in full.
Disclaimer: Many other moving companies require customers to select a tip amount as part of their payment process, creating awkward situations and unnecessary pressure. We do not believe in such practices. At our company, we ensure our movers are compensated fairly. While tipping is always appreciated—especially for movers who go above and beyond—customers should never feel obligated to tip if it is not within their budget. Our goal is for every customer to feel comfortable and satisfied at the end of their move.
